Description
Deciduous shrub reaching heights of 10 meters. The leaves are palmed, with 5-7 lobes, delicate and with very bright red colors in autumn. The Deshojo variety has an impressive carmine-red sprouting. It’s the deciduous bonsai paradigm. The most common styles are the curved informal upright (Moyogi), group planting (Yose-Uye) and semi-cascade (Han-Kengai). Protect from the midday sun in summer.
