Description
Variety of the species Rhododendron indicum. It is estimated that there are more than a thousand varieties of azalea (Satsuki, in reference to its flowering the fifth month of the lunar calendar) that give us each year the spectacle of its magnificent and long flowering. The most common style is the curved informal upright (Moyogi), although it adapts to many others. Most require an acidic substrate, soft water, and sun protection in summer.
