Description
Tree up to 20 m tall, with deciduous leaves and gray bark. The fruit is a globose drupe 5-7 (8) mm in diameter. Flowering occurs between March and April, and fruiting in September-October. Native to East Asia, it is used as an ornamental plant in gardens. The most common style is the informal vertical (Moyogi).
