Description

One of the 38 plants used to prepare Bach flowers is a large shrub, or small tree, up to 6-15 m tall, with leaves 4-6 cm long, serrated edges, sharp tips, glabrous, except the central nerve on the underside. It is one of the first European trees to flower in spring; white or pink flowers, 1.5-2 cm, with five petals. Its fruit is a drupe 2-3 cm in diameter, yellow or red, edible, reaching maturity in early autumn. Native to central and eastern Europe, and central and southwest Asia. The most common style is the informal vertical (Moyogi), although it adapts to many others.
