Description
Deciduous shrub of grey bark, small oval leaves and white flowers that give rise to small violet fruit that is used for the production of sloe gin. The most common styles are the curved informal upright (Moyogi), wind-swept (Fukinagashi) and semi-cascade (Han-Kengai).
