Description
The trunk grows naturally in a twisted way (Nejican) and in its young branches grow thorns. Its red spring flowers bear fruits that open in autumn to show off its red grains. The most common styles are the curved informal upright (Moyogi), multitrunk (Kabudachi), and slanting (Shakan)
