Crataegus monogyna

Description

Deciduous tree 4-6 m high, with spiny branches, serrated leaves, odorous white flowers and reddish fruit. The most common styles are the curved informal upright (Moyogi), wind-swept (Fukinagashi) and semi-cascade (Han-Kengai).
