Description
This tree, also known as Acer nioi, although it is not related to the Acer genus, is a subtropical variety with small leaves and an intense green color that has thin but very bushy branches. It must be protected from strong frosts, even if it is a deciduous tree. The most common styles are informal upright (Moyogi), sloping (Shakan), windswept (Fukinagashi), and semi-cascade (Han-Kengai).
